The eastern sky was tinged with golden hues.
A sweetness and glory was pervading everywhere.
Moon appeared with a million smiles of eternity.
Laughter and whispers thrilled the air.
Happiness poured like torrential rain.
Embellishing the ethereal space with delight.
Millions of scintillating stars appeared
In the arena of the unbounded sky.
Autumn wind began to blow.
The fragrance of sweet-scented flowers rent the air.
As the night grew older, the dew drops began to fall.
Some stars began to sleep and saw no more.
Still, there was laughter in the moonbeam
Making the countryside a place of wonderland and beauty.

শরতের চাঁদ

পূর্ব আকাশ সোনালী রঙে ছেয়ে গেছিল।
এক মাধুর্য ও মহিমা সর্বত্র বিরাজ করছিল।
চাঁদ অনন্তকালের লক্ষ হাসি নিয়ে হয়েছিল আবির্ভূত।
হাসাহাসি আর ফিসফিস বাতাসকে করেছিল রোমাঞ্চিত।
মুষলধারে বৃষ্টির মতো আনন্দ বর্ষিত হলো।
আকাশস্থ স্থানকে অলঙ্কৃত করো আনন্দের সাথে।
লক্ষ লক্ষ জ্বলন্ত তারার আবির্ভাব হয়েছিল
সীমাহীন আকাশের রঙ্গভূমিতে।
শরতের হাওয়া বইতে শুরু করেছে।
মিষ্টি সুগন্ধি ফুলের সুবাস বাতাসকে করে ভাড়া।
রাত যত বড় হতে থাকে, তত শিশির বিন্দু পড়তে থাকে।
কিছু তারা ঘুমাতে শুরু করল এবং আর দেখল না।
তবু জ্যোৎস্নায় হাসি ছিল
গ্রামাঞ্চলকে বিস্ময় ও সৌন্দর্যের জায়গা করে।
