Who am I without a Homeland ?
To dwell neither home nor sand,
In the roadside or else you’d see,
As a home my sleep there only be.

Myanmar-my birthplace is true ‘n’ true,
For witness, ask the colored sky, blue
“It’s my blood-drenched country” he’ll tell,
A place that holds my childhood memories as well.

Let me make like a street-dog no more
A street-dog can sleep well in any door,
Unlike me though being a human creature,
I dare to stay even at a high temperature.

What do you do if your child is in fear?
Definitely go and embrace him in dear.
The same aged friend like him is in fire,
Who is there to understand his desire?

What you feel is like I feel exactly
The world belongs not to you only,
In the magic games with you let me play,
Without decaying me not like everyday.

স্বদেশ ছাড়া আমি কে?

স্বদেশ ছাড়া আমি কে?
বাস করা নয় বাড়ি বা বালিতে
রাস্তার ধারে নইলে দেখতে পাবে,
আমার ঘুম সেখানেই থাকে ঘর হিসাবে।

মায়ানমার-আমার জন্মস্থান সত্য এবং সত্য,
সাক্ষীর জন্য, রঙিন নীল আকাশকে জিজ্ঞাসা করো
“এটা আমার রক্তে ভেজা দেশ” সে বলবে,
এমন একটি জায়গা যেখানে আমার শৈশবের স্মৃতিও রয়েছে।

আমাকে আর রাস্তার কুকুরের মতো দিও না করতে
একটি রাস্তার কুকুর যে কোনও দরজায় পারে ভাল ঘুমাতে,
মানুষ হওয়া সত্ত্বেও আমার থেকে আলাদা,
আমি এমনকি সাহস করি একটি উচ্চ তাপমাত্রায় থাকা।

আপনার সন্তান ভয় পেলে কি করো?
অবশ্যই যাও এবং তাকে আলিঙ্গন করো।
তার মতো একই বয়সের বন্ধু আগুনে পুড়েছে,
তার ইচ্ছা বোঝার কে আছে?

আমি ঠিক যা অনুভব করি তুমি তা অনুভব করো
পৃথিবী নয় শুধু তোমার অধিকারভুক্ত,
তোমার সাথে আমাকে খেলতে দাও জাদুর খেলায়
আমার ক্ষয় ছাড়া রোজকার মত নয়।
